Well I am sure you know "The SUN" very well and now I just want to tell you few facts about the sun.And I am very pleased to introduce these top rated facts about the sun.Now what is the sun? Is it a planet? No, it is not a planet and actually its a star in the universe.Believe it or not sun is really huge when compared to Earth.The sun has lot of gases in it like hydrogen, helium, calcium and many more.Now lets come to the facts about the sun.
1:The SUN is 93 million miles away from the earth.The sun is 1.4 million kilometers wide where as our earth is just 13 thousand kilometers wide.
2:The SUN is 4 1/2 billion years old.
3:The SUN is really hot,it was estimated that the surface of the sun is around 5800 degrees where as the core part of the sun that is the inner most area of the sun is 10 million degrees hot.
4:The SUN radiates heat and stream of charged particles called solar wind which some times effects out satellites.
5:Now what if sun stops burning well I guess there would be no earth if sun stops burning.Well for now don't worry it was estimated that sun will burn for the next five billion years.
